Public awareness
WEBSITE
One of the main information sources is the internet site focused on the provision of updated info on the activities of the ELEKTROWIN collective system. The site map reliably directs all visitors - retailers, municipalities, and general consumers.
EWIN-company newsletter
This company newsletter focuses on the take-back of electrical and electronic equipment and offers manufacturers,
cities, towns and villages, dealers and companies which treat electrical and electronic equipment information
about the activities of the collective system. It also provides space to our partners to share their own experiences
and opinions.
GENERAL PUBLIC, CHILDREN AND SCHOOLS
Focusing on children and schools (and adults too): Earth Day, art competition, competition to collect small appliances, partnership in the Eurorebus contest, school contest in the collection of small electrical appliances...
Focusing on cities, towns and villages: conferences, seminars, information campaigns for the people living in town....The most important activity in this sphere was organising the Roadshow. The Roadshow aimed not only at presenting our company, but first and foremost at supporting awareness focused mainly at youth as potential consumers. The synergic effect of the Roadshow was the direct collection of worn-out electrical equipment into containers located on the squares where the events were held.
In collaboration with Czech TV, a serial "Where to Put Them II" was created.
DEALERS
Updated information leaflets, historical electrical waste fee lists for consumers including a paper stand with
information are sent to retailers. In addition, adhesive labels to be stuck on shop windows, information
leaflets, and posters explaining incompleteness issues are distributed from time to time. The bins for the collection of tiny appliances are placed in the shop network.
